Christian Record Services VP for Finance to Retire

Christian Record Services, Inc., an official ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America to people who are blind or have low-vision, announces that its Vice President for Finance, Lonnie Kreiter, will retire at the end of February 2026. This announcement was initially shared with the organization’s board of directors during its regularly scheduled November 2025 meeting.

Kreiter has led the ministry’s treasury and financial operations since November 2017 from its Lincoln, Nebraska, headquarters, carefully stewarding donor contributions and providing oversight to support the organization's growth and innovation. During his tenure, Kreiter supported key governance processes and board reporting, contributed to committee-ready financial portfolios that emphasized operating income-producing investment returns, and helped the ministry navigate complex donor-restricted and operational funding environments.

“For eight years, Lonnie has exemplified integrity, diligence, and mission-focused leadership,” said Dexter Thomas, President. “His financial expertise and collaborative spirit have strengthened Christian Record Services’ ministry and impact on the blind and low‑vision community.”

A transition plan, in collaboration with the organization’s board of directors, has been initiated to ensure continuity in financial leadership. Individuals who are interested in being considered for this board-appointed ministry position may learn more at https://christianrecord.org/info/jobs.html.
