The Journey of Thomas Hyatt

Thomas Hyatt's life is a testament to resilience and faith. Despite learning about his impending blindness at a young age, Thomas never allowed his visual impairment to dim his zest for life. His journey, marked by both challenges and triumphs, is a powerful narrative of overcoming adversity through determination and support.

As a child, Thomas's love for baseball was cut short when he could no longer see the ball, a moment that broke his heart. However, his indomitable spirit led him to remarkable adventures, such as cycling over 4,000 miles across America on a tandem bicycle. This feat was not just a physical accomplishment but a symbol of his unwavering will to experience life fully.

"I am not Thomas, the little engine that can't," says Thomas. "I am Thomas, the engine that DID."

Thomas's involvement with PhoneFaith, a ministry of Christian Record Services, has been a source of solace and strength. Through hosting programs and engaging with the community, Thomas found purpose and a renewed sense of vitality.

"It's been my lifesaver," says Thomas. "PhoneFaith, I can say, has been my lifesaver."

His dedication to reading and understanding the Bible is a reflection of his deep faith and commitment to growth.
